Call for Interest In Schools Debating Competition

EPLANI are considering holding a Schools Debating Competition as part of its remit to further the teaching of environmental issues and law and encouraging the next generation to be interested in the key topics in the environmental arena.

The suggested motion is ‘Should renewable technologies be exempt from planning consent‘. 

While it is anticipated that the event will be held in Belfast and interest is more likely from BELB schools, all those in the 13–16 year old age group can apply. It is anticipated that teams should comprise of 3 people and the event to be held in December would offer a kindle to the each of the winning team members.
