EPLANI

Environmental Prizes for UU & QUB Students

A key role of EPLANI is to further environmental education and in the current economic climate it was decided by Committee that additional support for students was a valuable way to support the next generation of environmental lawyers and planners.

As such we are delighted to confirm that EPLANI has made available a cash prize of £250 to each of:

  • The Queens School Of Environmental Planning – Best Planning Skills and Ethics Module Award – Recipient – Jennifer Dowling (December 2011) and Katherine Mullholland (December 2012)
  • The Queens University School of Law

Eoin Brady – Environmental Law and Sustainable Development LLM

Aurelie Arduin – Environmental Law undergraduate

  • University of Ulster Faculty of Art, Design and the Built Environment/School of the Built Environment decided it was appropriate to split the EPLANI Prize for best performance on the MSc Planning and Property Development degree across the 4 years. In 2012 it was awarded as follows:
  • Year 1 – Jenny Floyd
  • Year 2 – Michael Beattie
  • Year 3 – Alex O’Hara
  • Year 4 – Nicola Connelly

Two of the students Michael and Alex have been awarded the prize again in 2013. Contratulations to them as well as Philip Gordon and Lisa Stewart.
