Response to the Department of the Environment Discussion Document – “Environmental Governance in Northern Ireland, 5 August 2011”

EPLANI welcomes the Department of the Environment’s Discussion Document on options for change to Environmental Governance in Northern Ireland. EPLANI firmly believes that effective governance on environmental matters is critical for environmental quality, justice and equality, and sustainability. Inward investment and economic competitiveness is also dependent upon transparent, proportionate and consistent environmental regulation.
