Newtownabbey and Antrim Council Options Brochure Published

Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council launched the commencement of the new Local Development Plan at the ‘Planning Our Place’ event on 28 January. 

A consultation booklet called ‘Towards Preferred Options’ is a key tool in the consultation process providing information about the Plan and explains how to get involved in the process along with timelines.

John Linden, Head of Planning for Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, said; “we want to hear at the outset what the public and key stakeholders think are the most important strategic planning issues that our new Plan should address.  In February and March we will be holding a series of public engagement events and would encourage everyone with an interest in the development of the Borough to attend.
